Beyond Nutrition Celebrates 25 Years of Business in Petawawa

Congratulations to Remy Schmitt, owner of Beyond Nutrition Petawawa, on 25 years of business in Petawawa. On April 28th, 2025, Petawawa Mayor Gary Serviss presented Remy with a certificate to celebrate this incredible milestone.

Remy and her husband immigrated to the Ottawa Valley in 1985, farming at first, before working in the dietary department at the hospital for more than 8-years. Remy always wanted to open a business and in April 2000, Beyond Nutrition was born. When the store first opened, Remy worked alone, six days a week, and as the business grew she was able to hire some extra help. Since April of 2000, Beyond Nutrition has been proudly serving customers at the same location, 3468 Petawawa Boulevard.

Beyond Nutrition sells hundreds of brands and products including supplements, vitamins, herbs, beeswax candles, local honey and more.
