Disposal:

• Do not discard lithium-ion batteries in the trash.

• If and when it is time to dispose of the lithium-ion battery, recycling is the best option.

• Locally, lithium-ion batteries should be delivered to the Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre for proper disposal; 900 Woito Station Rod, Laurentian Valley, Gate #3. Batteries are accepted during regular operating hours, year round, and there is no charge for Petawawa residents.
